Internet Explorer Automation with Perl
Created: 8 February 2006 Modified:Originally published on chrislynch.info website.
As I mention in the news section I have been interested in automating Internet Explorer for testing purposes using perl. I made a few test scripts before desciding to break the functionality into seperate classes. I have attached the files I made.
Put all the files in the same directory on windows and run tester.pl. The browserscript.txt file will need to be edited to point to a generic website. I haven’t done so yet. Also you will need to scan the code to understand how it work. I may make that update sometime in the future, but until then.
The files can be found by clicking here.
