Inkscape Create Forest Canopy for Map.
Created: 17 March 2011 Modified:If you need a map with a forest canopy you can use the following steps in Inkscape.
- Draw the outline of your forest area.
- Make a copy of the outline.
- Fill the original with black and place it in position.
- Fill the copy with green and make the stroke color a very dark green.
- Apply Filters -> Scatter -> Leaves to the green copy.
- Apply Filters -> Textures -> Rough Pager to the green copy.
- Place the green copy into position over top the original.
